FAQ
1. ORDERING & PROCESS
How do I place an order? Select the item(s) you want in your preferred colors, add them to your cart, and proceed to checkout.
What happens after I order? For made-to-measure orders, I will contact you directly by email to request your precise measurements so I can create your custom piece.
2. SIZING & MEASUREMENTS
Why aren't there standard sizes? Standard sizes are available for ready-to-ship collections, but most garments are made-to-measure. For custom orders, I will contact you directly by email to request the specific measurements I need to create your piece.
How do I take my measurements? Use a measuring tape (inches or metric—I work with both). Stand upright wearing the undergarments you'll wear with the garment (bra, corset, boned bodice, etc.). You can also take measurements over a thin t-shirt or light clothing.
What if I make a mistake with my measurements? If your measurements seem inconsistent, I will let you know. However, if the measurements provided were followed correctly and the error was on your end, I unfortunately cannot remake the order. You're always welcome to send me a video of yourself taking measurements to ensure everything is done correctly!
3. PRODUCTION, SHIPPING COSTS & TIMES
What are the production times? Approximately 6 to 10 weeks, as I handcraft everything alone in my atelier.
Why isn't shipping free? If I included shipping costs in the product price, I would be taxed on that amount as personal income, even though it's simply paying for a third-party service that is itself taxed separately. To keep pricing fair and transparent, shipping is charged separately at cost.
Why are shipping costs high? I handcraft every piece myself, investing significant time and care into each garment. And because I value my work as much as I value your trust in it, I want to ensure your order arrives safely and in perfect condition. So all shipments are fully insured. This also allows me to compensate clients promptly in the rare event of a lost or damaged package. Your piece deserves to travel as carefully as it was made.
How long does shipping take? This depends on the carrier and current traffic, but typically:
- France: 3–5 days
- Europe: 3–8 days
- USA: 6–10 days (may vary)
4. MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP
What fabrics/materials do you use? I primarily work with linen, wool, and cotton. Some pieces contain polyester, but I'm phasing out new polyester entirely for 2026 (except for upcycling projects). All product descriptions include full fabric compositions.
Where are the garments made? Made in France, by me, in my atelier in Normandy.
How do I care for my pieces? It depends on the piece. Most can be machine washed, except for wool and corsets. Care instructions are provided with each item.
5. PRICING & PAYMENT
What is your refund/exchange policy?
- Made-to-measure pieces: No exchanges or refunds. No right of withdrawal for custom orders.
- Ready-to-ship pieces: You have 14 days to return items at your own expense. Items must be clean, unworn, unwashed, and free of any odors or perfume. No refund will be issued if items are returned in unsuitable condition.
